FTECH Care+ - We’ve Got You Covered
We understand that proper fit is just as important as optical quality. To ensure a comfortable and accurate fit, FTECH offers a 30-Day Perfect Fit Guarantee starting from the date of delivery. During this period, the following adjustments are provided at no labor cost for Standard TTL System Loupes and Ergonomic TTL System Loupes:
Interpupillary distance (PD) adjustments
Ergonomic loupe angle adjustments
Convergence adjustments
Button and lens prescription adjustments (non-progressive lenses only)
Rebuilds related to fit and optical alignment
After the initial 30-day period, additional adjustments may be subject to a lab service fee. FTECH intentionally keeps these fees low and transparent, covering only the actual laboratory work required. Shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility, except for FTECH Care+ members, for whom shipping is covered.
This warranty applies exclusively to the original purchaser, as verified by FTECH records, and is non-transferable to subsequent owners.
FTECH Care+ provides extended warranty coverage as follows:
Loupes: 3 years
Headlights / Electronic components: 1 year
FTECH’s Standard Warranty provides:
Loupes: 2 years
Headlights / Electronic components: 3 months
*All warranties cover manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal, intended professional use.
Covered Components
At FTECH’s discretion, eligible components may be repaired or replaced if deemed to have failed due to manufacturing or assembly-related defects. Covered components may include, but are not limited to:
Temple arms
Adjustable nose pad components
Hinges
Carrier lenses
Vario bar
Loose ocular assemblies
Adhesive bonds and seals
Optical collimation (alignment)
What’s Covered
If a loupe barrel or ocular assembly becomes loose or detached from the frame during normal, intended professional use, FTECH will provide repair service at no labor cost, subject to warranty eligibility and inspection.
Covered situations include, but are not limited to:
Such cases are classified as manufacturing, assembly, or bonding-related defects, provided there is no visible external damage.
Loupe barrels separating from the carrier lens
Ocular assemblies loosening or detaching due to adhesive or assembly-related defects
Optical components detaching without evidence of impact, external force, or misuse
What’s Not Covered
To ensure clarity and fairness, the following are not covered under this warranty:
Cracked, chipped, or shattered lenses
Damage caused by dropping, impact, crushing, or other external force
Evidence of misuse, abuse, modification, or improper handling
Cosmetic wear or damage that does not affect optical performance or functionality
FTECH provides and administers warranty coverage for JTL headlight systems against defects in materials and workmanship under normal, intended professional use.
Under the FTECH Care+ program, the following components are covered for 1 year, unless otherwise specified:
Headlamp (LED): 1 year
Battery Pack & Charger: 1 year
Mounts & Linkage Arms: 1 year
Magnets & Clips: 1 year
Composite Filter: 1 year
Combo Case: 1 year
Wires & Cables: 6 months
Under FTECH’s Basic Warranty, coverage periods are as follows:
Headlamp (LED): 90 days
Battery Pack & Charger: 90 days
Mounts & Linkage Arms: 90 days
Magnets & Clips: 90 days
Composite Filter: 90 days
Combo Case: 90 days
Wires & Cables: 60 days
Exclusions – Loupe Warranty
The following are not covered under the 2-Year Basic Loupe Warranty or FTECH Care+, unless otherwise stated:
Damage caused by mishandling, negligence, or accidents, including but not limited to dropping, crushing, scratching, or theft
Improper, unauthorized, or modified use of the product
Damage or loss during shipping not arranged or approved by FTECH
Normal wear and tear resulting from daily professional use
Damage caused by exposure to restricted chemicals or processes, including but not limited to:
Adhesives, glutaraldehydes, iodophors, alcohol, bleach, disinfectant wipes (e.g., CaviWipes), Autoclave use or chemical sterilizationDamage resulting from external factors beyond FTECH’s control
Cosmetic damage that does not affect optical performance or functional use
Exclusions – Headlight Warranty
Liquid or moisture damage to headlights, battery packs, or electronic components
Damage caused by mishandling, negligence, or accidents
Failure to follow product manuals, charging instructions, or care guidelines
Unauthorized use, modification, or repair, including third-party servicing
Normal wear and tear from routine professional use
At FTECH, each custom loupe is made-to-order and crafted specifically for the individual user. For this reason, custom-made products are final sale and are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund. This includes, but is not limited to:
Through-The-Lens (TTL) systems
Ergonomic TTL systems
Any loupes involving custom measurements, prescriptions, or personalized optical configurations
Once production has begun, custom orders cannot be canceled, returned, or refunded under any circumstances.
Why Custom Orders Are Final Sale
Custom loupes are manufactured according to individual ergonomic and optical specifications and cannot be resold or repurposed. By operating on a made-to-order basis, FTECH is able to deliver exceptional precision, performance, and craftsmanship at a more accessible price point. We appreciate your understanding, as this policy allows us to maintain both high manufacturing standards and fair, transparent pricing.
Non-Custom Products
Non-custom, non-prescription products may be eligible for return within three (30) days of delivery, subject to the following conditions:
Items must be unused, undamaged, and returned in original packaging
Original shipping and handling fees are non-refundable
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer
Items marked as final sale are not eligible for return or refund
Important Notes
Shipping fees are non-refundable, regardless of order type or membership status
Products showing signs of damage, misuse, modification, or improper handling are not eligible for return
Prescription services, PPE (safety glasses), premium eyewear, and headgear are non-refundable
In the event of an approved return, both outbound and return shipping costs will be deducted from the refund amount
All returns are subject to inspection and approval by FTECH.

FTECH offers a hassle-free exchange policy for eligible products requested within the 30-day trial period.
Exchanges must be for items of equal value, subject to the conditions below.
Eligible Exchange Reasons
Changing battery color or LED package
Changing magnification or frame color (frame style changes excluded)
Receiving an incorrect product or component (e.g., mount)
Changing the loupe type, limited to non-customized products such as Flip-Up loupes
Important Exchange Notes
Any price difference must be settled prior to shipment
Higher-priced replacements require payment of the difference
Lower-priced replacements will receive a refund of the differenceOnce the exchange is shipped, the 30-day trial period resets upon delivery
Products showing signs of damage, misuse, or modification may be deemed ineligible for exchange.
All returns are subject to inspection and approval by FTECH.
