Welcome to FTECH. The terms “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to FTECH. FTECH operates this store and website, including all related information, content, features, tools, products, and services (collectively, the “Services”), to provide you, the customer, with a curated shopping experience. FTECH is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) together with any policies referenced herein (including our Privacy Policy, Return & Refund Policy, Warranty Policy, Delivery/Shipping Policy, and FTECH Care+ terms (if applicable)) describe your rights and responsibilities when you use the Services.
By visiting, interacting with, or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you should not use or access our Services.
ACCESS AND ACCOUNT
By agreeing to these Terms, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction and that any information you provide is accurate, current, and complete. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Accounts may not be transferred, sold, assigned, or licensed to any other person.
DEFINITIONS (IMPORTANT)
For purposes of these Terms:
“Custom / Made-to-Order Products” means products manufactured or configured specifically for an individual user based on user-provided measurements and selections, including but not limited to TTL systems, Ergonomic TTL systems, and any loupes involving PD, working distance, prescriptions, personalized optical configurations, or other fit-specific parameters.
“Non-Custom Products” means products not made to a user’s individual measurements/prescription (e.g., certain accessories or non-prescription items), as designated on the product page.
“FTECH Care+” means our long-term care membership program providing additional service benefits described on the FTECH Care+ page and/or during enrollment.
OUR PRODUCTS & PRODUCT INFORMATION
We make reasonable efforts to accurately display product information. However, product colors and appearance may vary based on your device and settings. Descriptions, availability, and pricing may change without notice.
FTECH products are professional optical aids. Individual comfort, adaptation, and perceived performance can vary due to user anatomy, posture, clinical workflow, and environment.
CUSTOMIZATION & FIT RESPONSIBILITY
If you purchase Custom/Made-to-Order Products, you acknowledge that:
You are responsible for ensuring that all customization and fit information you provide (e.g., PD, working distance, prescription details, frame selections) is accurate.
Custom products are manufactured based on the information you submit; errors or inaccuracies in submitted information may affect fit and are not grounds for cancellation or refund once production has begun.
Your rights for returns, exchanges, adjustments, and remakes are governed by our Return & Refund Policy and Warranty Policy, including the 30-Day Perfect Fit Guarantee and any applicable service fees.
ORDERS, ACCEPTANCE, AND CANCELLATIONS
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. FTECH may accept or decline orders at its discretion.
Order Confirmation
Your order is not accepted until we confirm acceptance and successfully process payment.
Cancellations
Custom/Made-to-Order Products: Once production has begun, custom orders cannot be canceled.
Non-Custom Products: Cancellation eligibility, if any, depends on order status and is not guaranteed.
DELIVERY / SHIPPING (FTECH STANDARD)
Each loupe is handcrafted in Korea, one at a time.
Production typically takes approximately 2 weeks, plus 3–5 business days for international shipping.
Total estimated delivery time: around 3 weeks.
Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary due to factors outside our control (e.g., carriers, customs clearance, weather, peak seasons). We are not liable for shipping delays.
PRICING, BILLING, AND TAXES
Prices may change without notice. Unless stated otherwise, prices do not include taxes, shipping, customs duties, or import charges. You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and payment information.
RETURNS, EXCHANGES, AND REFUNDS
All returns, exchanges, and refunds are governed solely by our Return & Refund Policy. In the event of conflict, the Return & Refund Policy controls for those matters.
WARRANTY, PERFECT FIT, AND SERVICE
FTECH provides a 2-year standard warranty for loupes covering qualifying manufacturing and assembly defects not caused by user damage, subject to eligibility and exclusions described in our Warranty Policy.
30-Day Perfect Fit Guarantee
FTECH offers a 30-Day Perfect Fit Guarantee from the date of delivery for eligible loupe systems as described in our Warranty Policy.
“Remake Anytime” Fit Commitment
If your customized lens does not fit comfortably, we will work with you to achieve an optimal fit through remakes and fit-related service support, consistent with our Warranty Policy and reasonable service review standards (e.g., verification of issue, product condition, and intended professional use).
FTECH Care+
If you enroll in FTECH Care+, additional coverage and service benefits apply, including (as described on the FTECH Care+ page):
Loupe warranty extension to 3 years
Electronic products coverage for 1 year
No additional shipping fees for covered repairs/exchanges
Priority access to orders/shipping/pre-orders
Ongoing $50 member-exclusive discount coupon
